Denuvo Cracked At Metro Exodus

The PC version of Metro Exodus is apparently available on the net after Deneuve was cracked within five days. The controversial release in the Epic Game Store should especially for this title, the problem of unlicensed downloads tightens.

Just five days after the release of Metro Exodus, strangers have undermined the copy protection systems of the PC version, among other things on DSO Gaming. The action game is apparently already available on relevant sites in the network as a download. In the case of Metro Exodus, it is conceivable that more players than usual feel morally legitimated to resort to black copy now. That’s because many disagree with publisher Deep Silver’s release policy: Metro Exodus should actually be on Steam. Shortly before the start, however, it was decided to distribute it (except pre-orders) exclusively for one year via the Epic Game Store.

This does not fit with many players, which is why they gave the title negative user ratings on all possible platforms – in the scene, that’s called Review Bombing. Forums have also written many gamers that they want to buy Metro Exodus only after the year on Steam. There might well be one or the other happy to wipe the publisher one, by downloading the shooter developed by 4A Games just without a license from the network.

Many publishers using Denuvo are primarily concerned with the protection of their works in the particularly high-demand period after their first release.
