Red Dead Redemption 2 May Have Suffered Graphical Downgrade Since Launch
Red Dead Redemption 2 released in 2018 and one of the high points of the title was the level of graphic detail that Rockstar Games employed in it. It is almost impossible to find someone who has played the game and did not think it looks impressive. But some players have come to realize that Rockstar may have applied a graphics downgrade in the game since its release.
Some players realized that after installing Red Dead Redemption 2’s update 1.07, gameplay details appear to have been removed, leaving the images “more normal” than before. Although the game still looks pretty enough. It started to bother some people who seem to have been hunting differences in the game’s visuals.
As update 1.07 officially presented only changes in Red Dead Online matchmaking, players sought answers in previous updates. And it was possible to note that Rockstar Games made subtle changes to the graphics of Red Dead Redemption 2 since the 1.03 update.
The most sensitive change refers to the use of “ambient occlusion,” a type of render that displays how objects and clothing behave about ambient light, as can be seen in the tweet below, which compares a version scene 1.00 and the same with update 1.06.

Rockstar Games has not ruled on the matter, but many believe the move may have made because of a problem with the game’s performance in both single player and Red Dead Online.
What do you think? Do you think the changes change the look of the game or are they just details of a game that is still very beautiful? Give your opinion in the comments below.

He added that the team is working so that it can deliver good video quality to lower connections, between 5 and 6 Mbps, but with lower resolutions.
Xbox Game Pass by streaming?
One of the questions asked to Choudhry was related to the Xbox Game Pass and the possibility of accessing the games of the service through Project xCloud.
The director did not give a very direct answer, just confirming the desire to make the service available, but remembering that it is currently valid only for Xbox One. This may be indicative that the possibility of games being made available on platforms such as PC and mobile may present some legal hurdles to come true.
