Anthem And Switch Lead In The US In February

In a month in which the Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console in the United States of America, the most sought-after game was Anthem.

The new Bioware game had a controversial release. But it was the best-selling game in February and became the second best-selling game of 2019 in the US – it is still BioWare’s second best installment behind Mass Effect 3.

Jump Force was the second-best debut of February and got second place, pushing for third Kingdom Hearts 3, which came first in January.

Demonstrating well the appeal of the characters in the game, Jump Force was able to become the third-best debut in Bandai Namco and the fourth best selling game of 2019 in the USA.

The best-selling game title of 2019 to date remains with Kingdom Hearts 3, which has become the game in the series that most units sold in less time and has sold more than 80% of what Kingdom Hearts 2 has sold in it’s their first weeks.

Metro: Exodus also managed to be among the top 10. The 4A Games game debuted at 8th place and set a new record for best sales in the month of release in the Metro series – it sold nearly 50% more than Last Light.

One of the February premieres that failed to rank among the top 20 is Crackdown 3.

The Xbox Game Studios exclusive is not on the list of best-selling games in February in the US. Even on the list of the top 10 Xbox One games sold in February in the US, Crackdown 3 is not present.

EA Admits That Anthem Is “Crashing” PS4 Models

EA Admits That Anthem Is “Crashing” PS4 Models

Through Twitter (via Eurogamer and VG247 ), EA has confirmed that it is aware of the serious problems of “crashes” of Anthem in its version of PlayStation 4.

The company claims it is investigating the situation in order to find a solution. However, player help is essential in the process. For this, the company asks that the affected ones send their data (PSN ID, a model of the PS4 and moment of the crash) to the Ans Answers HQ, the official page of the assistance of the company.

WE ARE AWARE OF THE PROBLEMS SOME ARE REPORTING ON ANTHEM. WE ARE INVESTIGATING AND WE ASK YOU TO SHARE SOME INFORMATION WHEN AFFECTED. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE SO, WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR INFORMATION. IF NOT, PLEASE REPLY TO THE TOPIC IN EA ANSWERS HQ

In the official site of the topic, hundreds of users reported the defect in various models of the Sony platform. “Crashes” not only close the game but force the console to restart. The concern of the players is the damage to the system due to the problems. Some even claimed that the console “brickou”, used an expression that means the death of the video game.

Although the investigations of the producer are in progress, it seems that it is something related to a newly released patch. But it is still unclear.

The situation seems very serious since even Sony is accepting requests for reimbursement from consumers who can prove some kind of problem with the game.

Anthem Producer Says The Future Of BioWare Is Not Concerned

Anthem Producer Says The Future Of BioWare Is Not Concerned

Anthem is the latest intellectual property of Bioware, a living game that is dividing the community and quickly became involved in various controversies.

Faced with a number of issues, such as complaints from players that Anthem is freezing PS4 consoles, which have made the release troublesome, several fans of the studio fear for their future, but the producer of Anthem says there are no reasons for that.

Michael Gamble, a lead producer on Anthem, received a message from a fan who demonstrated his support for the studio and the game, but also shared his fear of Electronic Arts’ reaction.

Facing this fan who spoke about his fear of seeing Electronic Arts close Bioware, Gamble said he did not have to worry, the studio is full of work and has immense support.

” Do not worry about us,” Gamble said.

“We have a lot of work to do, but you’re not the only one who likes Anthem,” added the main producer of the new game.

Over the last few days, the team responsible for the game has been receiving lots of fan support messages that fear for the future of Bioware.

However, Gamble continues to ensure that there is no cause for concern.

EA’s support for Bioware appears to be one of the biggest fears of fans, who fear they’ll see the label close the studio.

Gamble says they are receiving immense support.

” A lot of people are playing Anthem and we’ve already announced our plans for live service. Do not worry about it, we’re getting great support .”

Casey Hudson, manager of Bioware, had already thanked the support of the players of Anthem and Gamblem echoed his words.

That’s Why You Should Never Stay In Freeplay For Too Long In Anthem

That’s Why You Should Never Stay In Freeplay For Too Long In Anthem

If you’re on the free play of Anthem for too long, you’ll miss out on some bonuses. We reveal why regular homecoming is important.

A great attraction in Anthem is the free exploration of the game world. Rather than chasing fixed missions, you can easily explore the area around Fort Tarsis and spend hours indulging in various world events, small dungeons, or finding lore items. However, you should regularly take breaks in “Free Play”. Otherwise, there is less XP.

Which restriction is there? The experience points you can get from Freeplay mode are limited. The soft cap is already reached after the third world event in a row. From then on, other world events will no longer give you any experience points – but loot will continue to exist and even challenges can be dealt with without any problems.

Return to 3 world events: So the best tip is always to return to Fort Tarsis after completing the third World Event. After you have briefly entered the base (or the smithy), you can plunge right back into the fray. If you do not do that, you can avoid valuable experience points and you will not be able to level up if you spend hours in free play without a break.

Why is there this restriction? There is no clear justification for the restriction. However, there are several explanatory approaches that at least provide clues. If you could collect “infinite” experience points in Freeplay, then:

  • If a large part of the prey were meaningless in the end because you have exceeded its level far.
  • Could players on low opponents to level up to the maximum level

From a technical point of view, it makes sense to limit the XP.

What do you think of this limitation? Does it make sense to have a little break after three world events? Or does this circumstance tear you too much from free play?
